The Cool Season

January is in the so-called 'cold season' in Thailand, meaning the temperatures drop below 30ºC! It is a nice season to spend some time outside so we went on a trip to Khao Yai National Park again (see earlier posts). Another, less relaxing, trip was to the brand new Ikea shop which opened in Bangkok at the end of last year. Wolfgang seemed to enjoy one child-sized chair in particular however...

Wolfgang also had another hair cut, hence the different look in some pictures :-)

Family break memories

Over the Christmas/New Year's break, we went back to Belgium for a family trip. Wolfgang stayed with the grandparents (one week with Tom's parents, one week with Nirmala' parents), giving us some time to relax and meet friends, but we met up with him every few days!

For Christmas, Wolfgang was very excited to receive a toy guitar. He still plays with it every day, we should look for a teacher now ;-)

After one week in Brussels, we stayed a week in Bruges, playing the tourist. New Year's Eve was celebrated with friends at the seaside. The weather was not good during most of the trip but a great atmosphere and meeting family and friends more than made up for that!

For those of you who do not know yet: we are expecting our second child later this year :-)
