First day in Bangkok!!!

Dear friends,

After a smooth but long (15 hour) trip on Lufthansa & Thai Airways I reached Bangkok this morning at 6.40. Following a fruitless wait for my pick-up I caught a city cab into the city center at 7.40 and checked into my hotel. After a quick shower and change I crossed the street and headed to office to start my first day at my new job. An interesting long first day to start our Asian adventure... 

April is the start of the wet season in Bangkok. The warm rain brings cool and pleasant evenings.
